Automotive AC Technician

Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Setting up and connecting AC systems, including refrigerant lines, wiring, and ducts.
Service and Maintenance:
Performing routine checks, cleaning components (like air filters), and replacing or cleaning filters to ensure system efficiency.
Repair:
Diagnosing and fixing issues like poor cooling, noise, or other malfunctions.
Part Handling:
Ordering, receiving, and managing parts for AC systems, including refrigerant and other supplies.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of automotive air conditioning systems, components, and operation principles.
• Experience with diagnostic tools, including pressure gauges, leak detectors, and temperature sensors.
• Familiarity with working with refrigerants, especially R-134A and newer refrigerants such as R-1234yf.
• Proficient with electrical testing tools, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, explaining complex technical issues in simple terms.
• Strong organizational skills to keep track of service records and schedules.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
