Key Responsibilities

1. Product Design and Development:
   • Designing Wiper Systems: & A significant part of the job involves creating new designs for windshield wipers that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. This includes the wiper blades, arms, motors, and other components of the system.
   • CAD Modeling: & Engineers and designers use advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop precise models of wiper components, ensuring they fit specific vehicle models and perform optimally.
   • Prototype Development: & After finalizing designs, prototypes of new wipers and systems are created and tested for durability, performance, and ease of installation. These prototypes are essential in assessing how well the wipers perform in real-world conditions, such as heavy rain, snow, or dirt accumulation.
   • Innovation and Improvement: & The role often involves researching new materials and technologies to improve the efficiency, noise reduction, and durability of the wiper system. This could include experimenting with different rubber compounds, coatings, or silicone-based materials to enhance the lifespan and performance of the blades.
2. Material Selection and Testing:
   • Material Sourcing: & A Wiper Manufacturer must select high-quality materials for the wiper blades, arms, and motors. Common materials include rubber, silicone, and various metals.
