Job Description

Office Maintenance:& Dusting furniture, cleaning windows, doors, and walls, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the office space.&
Errands:& Running errands both within the office (e.g., carrying files, photocopying) and outside (e.g., visiting banks, post offices).&
Refreshments:& Serving tea, coffee, and water to staff and visitors.&
Clerical Assistance:& Handling mail, delivering messages, and assisting with basic clerical tasks as needed.&

Key Responsibilities:

File and Document Handling:
- Carry files, letters, and official documents from one department to another.
- Deliver documents to employees, management, or external offices when needed.
- Collect files or materials from different offices as instructed by supervisors.
Office Maintenance:
- Keep the office area clean and tidy.
- Arrange chairs, tables, and keep workspaces organized.
- Ensure the availability of drinking water, cleanliness of washrooms, and general hygiene of the premises.
- Open and close office rooms as instructed.
Assisting Senior Staff:
- Help senior staff members with small tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and scanning.
- Bring tea, coffee, water, or snacks to staff or guests.
- Guide visitors to the correct departments or personnel.
Mail and Courier Duties:
- Collect and deliver letters, parcels, and documents to and from the post office or courier services.
- Receive and distribute mail within the office.
Errands and Purchases:
- Go to the market or nearby stores to purchase small office items when needed.
- Assist in bank-related work such as depositing or collecting cheques (under supervision).
Support During Meetings or Events:
- Help in arranging chairs, setting up meeting rooms, and cleaning up after meetings.
- Provide water, stationery, or other materials required during meetings or events.
Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Assist in loading or unloading office supplies or equipment.
- Inform maintenance or repair teams about any office infrastructure issues.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisors or office staff.
