Job Description
FRESHER/EXPERIENCED FRONT DESK MANAGER FOR NATURALS SALON RAMAPURAM, CHENNAI .MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE PC, CUSTOMER INTERACTION FRONT DESK, WORK WITH EMAIL, EXCEL. COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH KNOWLEDGE APPRECIATED.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Reception & Service

  • Greet clients warmly and professionally as they arrive at the salon.
  • Provide information about salon services, pricing, and available packages.
  • Offer refreshments or reading material to clients as they wait, ensuring a pleasant experience.

2. Appointment Management

  • Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, online booking systems, or walk-ins.
  • Coordinate daily schedules for stylists, beauticians, and other service providers to avoid overlaps or delays.
  • Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, or rescheduling efficiently.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with repeat clients to encourage loyalty and referrals.
  • Address client concerns or complaints calmly and professionally, escalating issues to the salon manager if needed.
  • Maintain a database of client preferences, visit history, and birthdays for personalized service.

4. Front Desk Administration

  • Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception area.
  • Monitor salon supplies at the front desk and place orders when needed (e.g., stationery, POS materials).

5. Cash Handling & Billing

  • Process payments (cash, card, UPI, etc.) accurately through the POS system.
  • Issue receipts, vouchers, or invoices to clients.
  • Maintain end-of-day cash reports and balance registers.

6. Team Coordination

  • Communicate with the salon team about upcoming appointments and special client needs.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and keeping the team aware of changes or VIP bookings.
  • Relay client feedback to stylists and support quality improvements.

7. Sales & Promotions

  • Upsell salon products and services when appropriate (e.g., recommending add-ons or packages).
  • Promote ongoing offers, memberships, and loyalty programs.
  • Keep promotional materials and displays up-to-date at the front desk.
