Audit Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of accounting systems and internal controls.
• Verify financial records, vouchers, invoices, ledgers, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare audit reports with findings, analysis, and recommendations for management review.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports as required.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide required documentation and support during statutory audits.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and suggest corrective actions to the finance team.
• Review GST, TDS, and other statutory filings for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP, IND AS) and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather data, understand processes, and ensure proper documentation.
• Evaluate financial operations and suggest improvements in policies and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws, financial regulations, and auditing standards.
