Accounts Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting:

1. Financial Reporting:
   • Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
   • Monitor the financial performance of the company by analyzing variances and trends in financial reports.
   • Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
   • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to gather financial data and projections.
   • Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide explanations for deviations.
   • Prepare financial forecasts and projections, adjusting for changing business conditions.
3. Cash Flow Management:
   • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations and investments.
   • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
   • Develop strategies to improve cash flow and minimize financial risks.

Accounting & Compliance:

1. General Ledger Management:
   • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recording of all financial transactions.
   • Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that all accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
2. Compliance & Regulation:
   • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international accounting standards, as well as tax regulations.
   • Oversee tax filings, ensuring timely submission and accurate reporting of corporate taxes.
   • Assist with external and internal audits and ensure that all financial records meet audit requirements.
3. Internal Controls:
   • Develop and implement strong internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets.
   • Monitor and improve the internal audit process and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Team Leadership & Management:

1. Team Supervision:
   • Supervise and lead a team of accountants and finance professionals, providing guidance and support in daily activities.
   • Conduct performance evaluations, training, and development programs for the finance team to enhance their skills and productivity.
   • Allocate tasks and responsibilities within the team to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
2. Cross-Department Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with other departments (sales, marketing, HR) to align financial objectives with organizational goals.
   • Provide financial guidance and advice to non-finance departments to assist in business decision-making.
