Job Description
Position Overview: The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and helping expand the company s customer base. This role focuses on sales, lead generation, and market research to foster long-term business relationships. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to understand market dynamics and align them with the company s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify New Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients and markets that align with the company s offerings and goals.
  • Generate Leads: Utilize various lead generation strategies (cold calling, networking, social media, emails, and referrals) to generate business leads.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors to adjust the company s strategies.
  • Qualify Leads: Evaluate prospects to understand their needs and ensure they align with the company s capabilities and goals.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to ensure business continuity and repeat business.
  • Client Meetings: Meet with clients (via phone, email, or face-to-face) to understand their business needs, pitch services/products, and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Customer Support: Assist clients with inquiries, provide product or service information, and resolve any issues that arise.

3. Sales & Negotiation

  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the benefits of the company s products or services.
  • Close Deals: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals and meet revenue targets.
  • Sales Targets: Work towards meeting or exceeding sales quotas, ensuring growth in revenue for the business.

4. Proposal & Contract Management

  • Prepare Proposals: Draft detailed business proposals, quotes, and contracts based on client requirements and company offerings.
  • Contract Negotiation: Handle negotiations of contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure both client satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Document Management: Ensure all client documents and contracts are filed appropriately and that deadlines are met.

5. Marketing and Promotion

  • Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and sales strategies that align with business goals.
  • Promotional Events: Participate in industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and gather new leads.

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Track Progress: Keep track of sales targets, leads, and customer interactions using CRM tools or other reporting systems.
  • Provide Feedback: Report regularly to the Business Development Manager or Sales Manager on progress, challenges, and market feedback.
  • Evaluate Performance: Analyze the success of sales campaigns and adjust strategies to optimize business development efforts.
