Suitable and desirable candidates are invited through Online applications& in the Prescribed format by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) on behalf of the Standardisation Testing & Quality Certification Directorate (STQC) an attached office of MeitY, for the recruitment of& Government Job vacancy& of& Scientific Assistant& (Group-B Category)& in& STQC for the year 2025. The Direct recruitment to the posts of Scientific Assistant would be done through a Written Test (Objective Type) only. The Screening Test would consist of 120 No. of Multiple Choice Questions consisting of 65% questions from Technical Area of respective stream and 35% questions from Generic Area to be answered in 180 minutes.& The Generic Area will comprise of Logical, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities and General Awareness and Aptitude.

• Scientific Assistant: 113 vacancies (UR-43, EWS-11, OBC-34, SC-20, ST-05) (PWD-07),& Pay Scale: Pay Level-6 35400-112400, Age: 30 years as of 17/04/2025

Educational Qualification: Master in Science (M.Sc.)/Master of Science (MS)/Master of Computer Application (MCA) / Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.Tech) in any one or in combination of following: Electronics / Electronics & Communications / Electronics & Telecommunications / Computer Science / Computer & Networking Security / Software system / Information Technology / Electrical / Informatics.

Application Fee

The application fees of 800/- shall be charged from the General/OBC category and no fee from SC/ST/PWD/Women category through online mode only.
