The Experience
The Global Data Science and Advanced Analytics team in Colgate Palmolive is focused on working on commercial business cases which have a revenue impact for the business with recommended actions and scope for scalability across markets.
The role requires working with cross functional teams and leaders across Information Technology (UI/UX Front End, Back end, ML Ops), data architecture, data engineering, division analytics leads and business teams,
The Global Data Science and Advanced Analytics team is structured with Analytics Leads, Data Science Leads, Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers to solve business questions, provide actionable insights and drive growth for the organization. The role will lead a team of Data Scientists to develop scalable enterprise solutions from scratch in the areas of Marketing and Media Effectiveness, Marketing Mix Models, Revenue Growth Management, Category Forecasting.
The role requires an understanding of Internal and external data sources (Syndicated Market Data, Point of Sales, Nielsen, SAP, Retailer ePOS etc.) and the ability to work with large datasets to derive insights and recommendations.
The candidate should have proven ability to write scalable codes in SQL, Python, R to build and deploy statistical models, machine learning models in production using Airflow, conceptualize algorithms to guide the team to achieve the business objectives and goals. Knowledge of working on cloud environments (Google Cloud, Snowflake) is crucial.
The candidate should be an analytical problem solver and be proactive and responsive to Business needs
Communication is a prime requisite along with storytelling to present complex model insights in simple business language to the stakeholders.
