Summary of the Role:
Officer : Instrumentation is responsible for executing Instrument installations, automation and control system related maintenance activities on his own with compliance to all related legal and Lubrizol HSES policies and requirements under the guidance of Manager : Instrumentation. He will perform day to day routine maintenance/preventive/predictive maintenance activities during rotational shifts to support manufacturing activities. As and when required, he will perform modification, Capex and project related activities.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Executing preventive and predictive maintenance of process instrumentation, automation and control system as per schedule.
:
Maintain Calibration Lab.
:
Attending breakdown maintenance jobs ensuring minimum downtime and reliable solution for instrumentation, automation and control systems.
:
Support contractor 's team and vendor 's service team at site to execute the jobs. Supervise their work, quality and safety performance.
:
Understand instrument 's criticality and associated relevant requirements and health mapping of critical instruments.
:
Identification of maintenance spares and consumables required for process instrumentation, automation and control system.
:
Coordination for procurement of required spares/consumables in consultation with Manager : Instrumentation.
:
Maintain the stock/inventory of spares/consumables at engineering store.
:
Executing day:to:day maintenance jobs by co:ordination with cross functional team.
:
Conducting risk assessment involved in all jobs through work permit system along with JSA (Job Safety Analysis) of non:routine and critical jobs and management of change as per requirement.

Adherence to ISO system and maintaining records and documents as per ISO as well as department functional requirements like Daily log, Equipment History Cards, Reports, MoM, Certificates etc.

Actively participate and support instrumentation function for improvement and standardization.

Ensuring 100 legal compliances applicable to department based on Factories act and other statutory bodies.

Understand and execute pre:defined procedures of jobs for compliance, good engineering practices, good Housekeeping.

Take appropriate decision during shift to ensure continuity of plant and utility operations.

Learn and understand various plant systems and conduct troubleshooting of Process Instrumentation, automation and control systems

Experience and Skills:

Minimum 05:07 years of experience of process instrumentation, automation and control system maintenance in chemical, specialty chemical / petrochemical plants.

Knowledge and hands on experience of DCS, PLC, SCADA (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider).

Knowledge and hands on experience in maintenance and calibration of all types of Pressure transmitter, Temperature sensor and transmitter, Flow transmitter, Level
