Job Overview:We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Salesman to join our team at Hindustan Hardware and Plywood Showroom in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a good understanding of hardware and plywood products, and the ability to contribute to achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right products based on their needs.

- Provide product information and recommendations to customers regarding hardware and plywood items.

- Ensure the showroom is well-stocked and displays are organized.

- Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring products are available for customers.

- Process customer orders, handle payments, and issue receipts.

- Address customer queries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.

- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the showroom s success.

- Assist in the preparation and execution of promotional activities or sales events.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in hardware or plywood industry (freshers are also welcome).

- Strong communication skills in English, Kannada, or Hindi.

- Ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.

- Basic knowledge of computer systems and sales software.

- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach.

- Good organizational and time management skills.

Preferred:

- Experience with hardware, plywood, and construction materials is an advantage.

- Knowledge of sales techniques and customer handling.
