Key Account Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Manager(Must be a resident of Gujarat) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving sales and marketing efforts for exporters who require freight and forwarding services. Your primary focus will be on facilitating the movement of goods from warehouses located across India to importer warehouses in Bangladesh. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced logistics environment and build strong relationships with clients across borders.Salaries are no bar for the deserving candidate. The base salary for this role is INR 30,000, with unlimited earning potential. as a key account manager, the earning increases in proportion to the sales performance. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and manage existing key accounts, with a focus on exporters needing freight forwarding solutions from India to Bangladesh. Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing personalized support to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. Coordination & Logistics: Oversee the coordination of freight and forwarding services, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods from Indian warehouses to Bangladeshi importers. Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand client needs, trends, and competitor offerings, providing insights to enhance our service offerings. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless execution of services. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience of 3-5 years in sales, marketing, and account management within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry. Strong knowledge of international shipping processes, particularly in cross-border trade between India and Bangladesh. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively. A customer-focused mindset with a strong ability to solve problems and deliver results. Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site visits. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in freight forwarding or logistics management in the South Asian region. Familiarity with import/export regulations between India and Bangladesh. Knowledge of supply chain management software or CRM tools. Must be a graduate.
