Job Summary:

An AR Caller is responsible for managing and following up on outstanding accounts receivable for healthcare providers. The role involves communicating with insurance companies and patients to resolve payment issues, process claims, and reduce accounts receivable days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to insurance companies to check the status of outstanding claims.
• Follow up on denied or underpaid claims and take necessary action to resolve them.
• Identify and rectify billing errors, incorrect claim submissions, or missing documentation.
• Work on aging reports to minimize outstanding accounts and improve revenue cycle performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams, such as billing and coding, to ensure claims are processed correctly.
• Document all interactions and claim updates in the billing system.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Meet individual and team productivity and quality targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor 's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Experience in AR calling, medical billing, or claims processing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance policies, claims processing, and denial management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
