About the department
The Digital, Data and IT India team is a group of 900 highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bengaluru (Bangalore). Our department is responsible for managing IT, including System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management, and Vendor Management. We are an integral part of the DD and IT and support, operate, and further develop the portfolio of IT Systems used across departments in Novo Nordisk. The position
As a System Manager II at Novo Nordisk, you will drive system management activities for critical IT systems with a sound knowledge of IT system architecture. Create and review documentation necessary to help progress system and project implementation deliverables. Ensure functionality, documentation, and quality for systems. Other key responsibilities are:

Prepare and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA) with business and supplier. Use IT Risk Assessment Template to identify risks and risk controls for projects.

Demonstrate sound knowledge of Service Level Agreements, Operational Level Agreements (OLA), Underpinning Contracts, and best practices in service management.
:
Validate computer systems and application services, IT security procedures, prepare requirement specifications for computer systems, and manage configuration in IT.

Play a key role in system audits with end:to:end responsibility for ensuring the system follows compliance policies and guidelines. Drive periodic system evaluations and user reviews to ensure proper functioning and compliance of IT systems.

Demonstrate a good understanding of ITIL and system management experience in Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, and Incident and Problem Management.

Assist in developing the IT system strategy with a strong focus on the future of the system in the organization. Participate in Agile meetings : Scrum, Program Iteration, Business Demo, Iteration Planning : and provide all necessary inputs required from a system management perspective.

Participate in meetings, workshops, and forums with internal and business teams to help implement best practices. Manage supplier relationships, including conducting supplier audits and assessments. Exhibit excellent communication skills and engage with stakeholders regularly.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following qualifications:

Bachelor 's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field along with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Proven experience in system management and IT architecture.
:
Strong knowledge of ITIL, SLA, OLA, and service management best practices.
:
Experience in risk assessment and compliance.
:
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
:
Experience in GXP and CSV (Computer System Validation).
:
Strong knowledge in Agile methodologies and supplier management.
