Responsibilities
Create drawings: Use CAD software to create detailed drawings for construction projects
Draw maps: Create topographical and relief maps for construction workers and architects
Design parts: Design parts of machines and determine the fasteners needed to assemble them
Prepare technical details: Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures
Prepare engineering drawings: Prepare drawings for highways, bridges, pipelines, and more
Create wiring diagrams: Create diagrams for electrical equipment and wiring
Collaborate with others: Work with engineers, surveyors, and contractors to ensure projects meet specifications
Ensure compliance: Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
Maintain documentation: Maintain and update project documentation
Provide technical support: Provide technical support to the engineering team
