Required Account Executive - Mumbai

Position: Account Executive Job Overview: We are currently looking for a talented and driven Account Executive with at least 2 years of experience in accounting, and proficiency in Tally, to join our team. Job Description: The Account Executive will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure financial records are accurate, and support financial reporting. As part of our finance team, the ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally and have a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for numbers. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate financial records using Tally for daily transactions, invoicing, and payments.
• Record all accounts payable and receivable transactions and ensure they are up-to-date.
• Process and track bank transactions, reconcile accounts, and assist with managing cash flow.

Invoicing & Billing:

• Generate and send out invoices to clients based on completed sales and deliveries.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely collection of payments from clients.
• Coordinate with the sales team for any billing discrepancies or issues.

Account Reconciliation:

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit card statements.
• Ensure the accuracy of data in accounting records to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Support in financial analysis and forecasting activities.
• Track and report on financial performance and provide insights to management.

Compliance & Taxation:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• Support in tax filings and documentation preparation.
• Assist in preparing documents for audits.

Tally Software Management:

• Utilize Tally for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Support the integration of Tally with other software tools for efficient financial management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tally-related issues or discrepancies.

Key Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certification in accounting (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tally software for accounting operations.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of tax laws, GST, and compliance requirements (if relevant to the region).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
