Wanted Coordinator, EHS,

Due to continuous growth, CommScope is looking to hire a Coordinator, EHS to be based at our site in GOA . This role will be responsible EHS Shift surveillance for operations and projects, contractor safety management, safety induction training and preliminary investigation of near misses and incidents.

Participate in EHS program planning and activities.
:
Participate in Safety Excellence Roadmap.
:
Participate in L1, L2 and L3 meetings, as required.
:
Update and maintain EHS reports, tasks and regulatory compliance in Entropy software.
:
Reporting and investigation of near miss and incidents. Compliance of Corrective and Preventive Action.
:
Provide training for workers and visitors on various EHS topics including safety induction.
:
Train employees on use of Entropy software for reporting EHS related information.
:
Coordinate EHS Inspections, Audits, Meetings, Trainings, etc. and suggest ideas for improvement.
:
Coordinate EHS Employee Engagement, Promotional Activities, Health and Wellness programs.
:
Conduct and circulate weekly Safety Toolbox Talks.
:
Inspect and monitor project site activities and ensure compliance with Work Permit System.
:
Provide administrative support during statutory, certification, customer, corporate or any third:party audits.
:
Upkeep of work area to improve 5S standards.
:
The role will involve working in rotational shifts
Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Technology OR Degree in Physics or
Chemistry with minimum 2 years of experience of working in a factory

Recognition as 'Safety Officer ' issued by Chief Inspector of Factories and Boilers, Govt. of Goa.

Working knowledge of statutory requirements with regards to Inspectorate of Factories and Pollution Control Board.
:
Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
:
Understanding of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.
:
Qualities of a good trainer.
:
Competency to handle emergencies occurring inside the factory.
:
Experience in working with software applications such as Entropy, MS Office, BC in the cloud, Everbridge, Humantech, ENHESA and Power BI.
:
Willingness to complete Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
