Required Travel Consultant, Kozhikode

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced travel consultant at Travel Partner Leisure who can advise, plan and manage our clients travel itineraries. Their primary role is to improve the performance and competitiveness of tourism destinations, attractions and services by using their extensive knowledge and experience in travel trends, market dynamics and sustainable practices. As a travel consultant, you must communicate efficiently to understand each clients needs, time budget constraints and arrange customized travel options accordingly. You would research and recommend flights, hotels, sightseeing options and other travel related services to the clients. Your ability to monitor and handle any concerns or issues relating to the client travel within a short interval will be critical for this position, if you are enthusiastic about travelling and have excellent communication skills, you 're perfect for this role.
Responsibilities
Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
Diagnose the clients specifications and wishes and suggest suitable packages or services.
Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking ticket and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
Collect deposits and balances
Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns.
Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
Create and update electronic records of clients
Keep financial statements and documents
Skills
More than 3 years of experience as a travel Consultant
Passionate about travel and tourism
Excellent knowledge of travelling software 's
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc.)
Customer oriented mind-set
