Verify the accuracy and completeness of patient information. Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments. Obtain authorizations for procedures when required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EHR system. Skills: high degree of data entry speed and accuracy. excellent attention to detail and the capacity to spot and fix mistakes. proficiency with computers and related software programs, such as practice management software, EHR systems, and spreadsheets (Excel).
