Job Description
Main responsibilities:1. Account Management:- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts in modern trade channels (Reliance, Apollo, Metro, D-Mart, etc.).- Negotiate terms of trade, promotions, and marketing activities to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.- Ensure timely execution of annual business agreements (ABAs) with key partners.2. Sales Target Achievement:- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.- Monitor and analyze sales performance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.3. Merchandising & Visibility:- Drive product visibility through proper planogram implementation and in-store merchandising.- Ensure stock availability, minimizing stockouts, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels at partner locations.4. Promotional Activities:- Plan and execute consumer promotions, offers, and product launches in collaboration with the marketing team.- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and suggest improvements.5. Market Insights:- Regularly track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends in the modern trade segment.- Provide actionable insights to the management team for strategic planning.6. Cross-Functional Coordination:- Work closely with supply chain and distribution teams to ensure seamless product availability.- Collaborate with the marketing team for brand-building initiatives tailored to modern trade partners.7. Reporting & Analysis:- Prepare regular sales reports, account performance summaries, and forecasts.- Monitor ROI on trade spends and provide recommendations for budget optimization. (ref:updazz.com)
