Job Summary: The project coordinator is responsible for supporting project managers and teams in the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects. They assist in coordinating project activities, managing resources, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
o Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
o Coordinate project activities, tasks, and schedules to ensure timely completion.
o Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
o Track project progress and report updates to project managers and stakeholders.
2. Resource Management:
o Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to ensure optimal utilization.
o Coordinate with team members, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
o Monitor resource usage and escalate issues as necessary to ensure availability and efficiency.
3. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
o Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.
o Communicate project objectives, status updates, and milestones to stakeholders.
o Facilitate communication among project team members to foster collaboration and alignment.
o Address stakeholder concerns and escalate issues to project managers as needed.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
o Generate regular progress reports and performance metrics for project stakeholders.
o Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference and improvement.
