Moreover, we have notable individual investors, such as Founders of Transporeon - Peter Forster & Marc-Oliver Simon, CEO of Transplace Francis McGuigan, Hermann Ude - Chairman of Transporeon and former CEO of DHL Global Freight SizeStartup / Small EnterpriseWorking Days5 days/weekRole & ResponsibilitiesAchieve Revenue and Market Share Targets:- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share.Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:- Identify and develop relationships with key accounts and potential customers.- Set up product demonstrations, discuss technical solutions, and manage complex negotiations to secure contracts.Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales, highlighting performance and strategic insights.Cross-functional Collaboration and Seamless Execution:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.- Partner with customers during the initial days of product usage to ensure faster adoption and a smooth handover to account managers, ensuring a seamless customer experience.Ideal Candidate- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. An -MBA from a reputable B-School is highly desirable.- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales within the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry.- At least 4-6 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in a B2B setting.- Experience in SaaS or Logistics SaaS companies/start-ups is a plus.- Excellent ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
