Job Description
Job Title: Vice President Operations Department: Operations Reporting To: COO Location: Vadodara No. of Reporters to this position: 7 to 10 Direct
Job Objective: The job objective for the position of Vice President Operations is to lead and oversee all facets of our organization 's operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, strategic alignment, and exceptional performance. This pivotal role aims to drive operational excellence, streamlining processes, managing resources effectively, and continually enhancing quality, all while aligning operations with our long-term strategic goals.
The VP of Operations will be responsible for maintaining a strong focus on cost control, risk management, and regulatory compliance, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Through dynamic leadership, this position plays a critical role in achieving customer satisfaction, driving growth, and maintaining our position as a leader in our industry.
Key Deliverables:
Business Direction - Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the teams under management. Understands and demonstrates core values and Leadership Principles. Carries out supervisory and management responsibilities in accordance with the organization 's policies and procedures.
Leadership -Mentor others in developing Leadership behaviors. Hires, manages, and develops high performing teams. Identifies individual strengths of team members and actively fosters career advancement.
Actively seeks to understand core business values and initiatives and translates those into everyday CS practices. Works with the COO to determine strategy to achieve overall site goals. Shapes the direction of the team, keeps them focused and motivated to deliver the right results.
Decision Making -Combines a deep cross-functional business understanding with a long-term industry wide strategic context for all decision making. Understands how to position the organization for success.
Problem Solving - Effectively applies best practices to all strategic decisions. Solves complex customer service issues by proactively identifying and eliminating root cause barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality. Maximizes resources for the greater good of the organization.
Process Improvements - Maintains a complete and thorough understanding of technical systems used in day-to-day operations. Implements change or develop new processes as necessary to provide the ability to better service multiple work types. Continually measures and evaluates all work processes using Kaizen, Lean, DMAIC, and other improvement methods.
Effective Communication - Demonstrates ability to influence, manage, and present ideas via clear written and oral communication. Demonstrates emotional maturity and grace under pressure in all communications. Builds positive productive relationships with many stakeholders and partners around the world.
Adaptability - Overcomes time zone and geographic distance to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure compliance with business policies. Deals with the complexity of multiple lines of business and regions.
Operation Excellence- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
PNL- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
Key Performance Indicators: 1. Operational Efficiency: Drive the optimization of operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure a seamless customer experience. 2. Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with all relevant financial regulations, ensuring the organization adheres to industry standards and maintains its reputation for trustworthiness. 3. Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks to protect the company 's financial stability and reputation. 4. Scalability: Create and implement scalable operational strategies that support the organization 's growth and expansion plans.5. Technology Integration: Spearhead the integration of cutting-edge financial technology tools and platforms to improve operational capabilities and stay competitive in the market. 6. Customer Support: Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer support and service, including timely issue resolution and effective communication with clients. 7. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. 8. Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements. 9.
