Job Description
A Corporate Development Manager is a senior-level professional responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities that contribute to a company s growth, profitability, and market expansion. This role is crucial in helping a company achieve its long-term business objectives through mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments. Key Responsibilities:- Lead or support the acquisition process, from sourcing targets to negotiating deals.- Conduct due diligence to assess the value, risks, and strategic fit of potential acquisitions.- Manage integration processes post-acquisition.- Identify potential partners, negotiate terms, and form strategic collaborations to enhance business capabilities.- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, such as investors, partners, and consultants.- Conduct detailed market research to identify emerging trends, potential growth areas, and competitive threats.- Provide recommendations based on insights to guide corporate strategy and positioning.- Typically, a Corporate Development Manager holds a bachelor s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is often preferred.
