Job Description
A. Job Responsibilities: Vice President of Sales - Preferred from Medical Devices/P&O sales.Key Responsibilities :Strategic Leadership : - Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company s overall business objectives.
-Identify new market opportunities and define strategies to penetrate these markets.
-Lead the sales forecasting process and set performance goals accordingly.
-Develop CSR partnerships with corporates and NGOs towards sales growthTeam Management : - Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
-Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.
-Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback.Customer Relationship Management : - Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.
-Oversee key negotiations and close major deals.
-Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.Market Analysis : - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
-Use market intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development.
-Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Sales Operations : - Optimize the sales process and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
-Oversee the development of sales collateral, presentations, and proposals.
-Manage the sales budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
-Oversee the development of Medical Practitioners, Corporate Hospitals and Govt sales.Qualifications :- Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.- Experience: 15-18 years of progressive sales experience in the medical devices or prosthetics and orthotics industry.
-At least 10 years in a senior sales leadership role.
-Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.Skills : - Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
-Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
-Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
-Deep understanding of the medical devices or P&O market, including regulatory requirements.Competencies :Visionary Leadership : - Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team towards achieving ambitious goals.
