Job Title : Marketing Research and AnalystLocation : Bavdhan, PuneQualification : Bachelor in engineering, or any technical degreeExperience : 4-8 YearsCompensation : As Per Market StandardRoles and Responsibilities :The incumbent shall be responsible for generating new business and maintaining a good brand image of the company with various marketing initiatives with a focus on the following areas :1. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.2. Collect and analyze data from various sources including surveys, interviews, market reports, and databases.3. Interpret data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for business strategy development.4. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing research findings and strategic recommendations.5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market insights into product development, marketing strategies, and business planning.6. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide timely insights and recommendations.7. Utilize statistical techniques and market research methodologies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of findings.8. Present research findings to internal stakeholders, clients, or external partners as needed.9. Maintaining a stable knowledge base of the business s industry, competitors, and regulatory activity.Previous Experience :A. Min Experience (Years)- 5 Yrs - 8 YrsB. Type of Organisation Where the Candidate Should Have Worked- Air Pollution Control Equipment Industry,Special Purpose Machinery, Material Handling Equipment industry, Turnkey project industry.Educational & Technical Qualifications :a. Minimum Qualification - Bachelor in Engineering, or Any Technical DegreeB. Additional Qualification(S) Desirable- Master s Degree in Business Administration Specializing in Marketing. Certifications in Marketing and Digital Marketing Are Also AcceptableEssential Job Knowledge :(Knowledge is the body of information that a person needs to have and that is required to do the job.)1. Understanding of market research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research techniques.2. Familiarity with statistical analysis software and data visualization tools.3. Knowledge of industry-specific trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.4. Awareness of regulatory requirements and ethical considerations in market research.5. Proficiency in interpreting financial and market data to extract meaningful insights.Essential Skills :(Skills refers to the ability of a person to use knowledge effectively and readily in execution or performance. These include both technical skills which are tangible hard skills that are knowledge or experience-based, and soft skills, personality traits, usually interpersonal skills, that affect a person s ability to do a job well).Examples : Some generic skills are commonly required for almost all types of jobs - The ability to communicate in English/Other languages, the ability to write reports, and business correspondence. There may be other skills that are specific to a job - use of specific software, ability to make/read engineering drawings, data analysis, etc.1. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting findings and recommendations.3. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS, PowerBI, Excel, or Tableau.4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.5.
