Our mission is to offer similar experience for online customers in ecommerce spaceRole Overview :We are seeking a passionate Ecommerce Assistant Category Manager to oversee our Personal care category. This role involves Purchasing, assortment planning, product merchandising, and working with various teams to boost sales and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities :- Support Category Manager in- Inventory- Purchase- Marketing- Monetization.Product Curation :- Curate a diverse product range based on customer preferences and market trends.- Optimize product listings for better visibility and conversion rates.Benchmarking :- Stay updated on trends and competition to effectively assort and market products.- Data & Analytics: Make data-driven recommendations to improve the shopping experience and increase revenue.- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).- Develop monthly inventory plans to ensure proper supply and replenishments.Operations and Coordination :- Support day-to-day category operations and establish efficient processes.- Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams on inventory management and financial reconciliation.- Collaborate with product managers and designers to enhance the category s online presentationQualifications :- Education: Any Bachelors Degree. Master s Degree is an added advantage.- 2-4 years of experience in category management, vendor/supplier management, or sourcing in ecommerce or retail.- Experience in personal care products is preferred.- Sourcing/Purchase experience- Experience of sourcing from large brands preferred.- Product selection, Price negotiation- Knowledge of the Tamil Nadu market is a plus.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Languages - English; Tamil; Hindi; (ref:updazz.com)
