Intern - Social Media Specialist (0-5 Yrs) Any Location (Online/Digital Marketing)

Job Description :The Social Media Specialist Intern will support the social media team in creating and executing content across various social media platforms. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and to learn about the latest trends and strategies in the industry.Responsibilities :- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.- Create, schedule, and publish content on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).- Produce high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content (text, images, videos) for social media posts.- Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure brand consistency.- Monitor social media accounts for comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with the audience in a timely and professional manner.- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content creation.- Support the creation of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.- Help track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, and prepare reports on key metrics.- Foster positive engagement and build relationships with followers and influencers.- Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.- Use data-driven insights to refine social media strategies and content.- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.- Experiment with new content formats and strategies to keep our social media presence fresh and innovative.- Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to support marketing initiatives.- Monitor ad performance and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for social media campaigns.- Assist in managing social media advertising campaigns.- Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements :- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.- Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).- Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).- Knowledge of social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).- Previous internship or freelance experience in social media management.- Strong organizational and time management skills.
