Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Travel Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client communications, coordinating with vendors, handling payment follow-ups, and ensuring the quality of travel products sold. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.Key Responsibilities:I. Quality check for the product sold:1. Verify the accuracy and completeness of travel itineraries and bookings over a call with the traveler.2. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all travel products meet company standards and client expectations.3. Gather client feedback post-travel to identify areas for improvement.Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues identified.II. Client mail interaction:1. Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via email.2. Provide detailed information on travel itineraries, bookings, and services.3. Address and resolve any client concerns or issues in a timely manner.4. Assist clients with changes, cancellations, and special requests.III. Vendor mail exchange:1. Communicate with travel vendors (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.) to confirm bookings and services.2. Negotiate and secure the best rates and terms with vendors.3. Maintain updated records of vendor agreements and contracts.4. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.IV. Payment follow-ups:1. Monitor and manage payment schedules for client bookings and vendor services.2. Follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.3. Coordinate with the finance department to process payments to vendors and resolve any discrepancies.4. Keep accurate records of all transactions and communications. (ref:updazz.com)
