have been retained by a growing Electro - Mechanical Engineering group to select one
: Manager - Taxation / Finance.
Job Description / Profile :
-To monitor and provide support in the day to day management of direct & indirect taxation.
Job Description
-Strong India Tax compliance and advisory experience preferably in manufacturing as well as trading environment
-Exposure to both Direct tax (Corporate Returns, TDS, Transfer Pricing) as well as Indirect tax (Excise, Service Tax, VAT)
-To ensure adequate and effective process controls for payment of tax and timely filing of returns and documents with the Revenue/Tax Department
-To ensure Income Tax Returns, Income Tax Assessment and to see that TDS payments are made on time
-Provide optimal tax solutions to business units on financial and operational issues including cross border transactions, acquisitions & dispositions
-Interface with local tax authorities and government agencies with respect to tax assessments
-Coordinate the use of external tax or legal advisors as necessary
-Oversee team of 2 tax executive / analyst
-Manage tax audits effectively and Ability to effectively implement tax strategies & decisions
Candidate Profile / Experience Desired :
CA/CS/ICWA/LLB
Should have relevant experience of 8 - 12 years of working with MNCs or Large Group
Should have exposure to both Direct and Indirect Tax
Should have understanding of tax assessments and tax accounting standards
Should have basic understanding of IFRS or US GAAP.
WFH Option is also available.
