What Youll Do:
As a Technical Market Manager ,PCG, IMEA, you would be a customer interface, promoting and gaining technical approvals for our product lines within customers formulations and future projects. You would be working directly with key regional customers thus growing the Additives pipeline of opportunities and gaining technical approvals.
What Were Looking For (Responsibilities / Accountabilities):
- To develop formulations specific for target markets in the region and consecutively work on innovative solutions with customers to ensure our product entry into customers formulations.
- Lead new product development, create unique testing protocols, applications, and solutions, and simulate end:use performance for creating customer value.
- Using test methods and formulations : develop prototypes to meet unmet customer needs.
- Troubleshooting customer issues through evaluation and guidance
- Leading Innovation for the PCG team through identifying new markets and new customers for new applications.
- Create value propositions and customer value communications.
- Support Customer Sales and marketing : Preparation for trade show and exhibitions.
- Create supporting technical literature.
- Build a significant Opportunity pipeline for Additive products. Track progress through CRM tool.
- Build regional market data on competitors, markets, trends, and gaps.
Skills That Make a Difference:
- Minimum B. Tech/M. Tech in Chemistry/ applied sciences /with focus on paints pigments and varnishes
- Minimum 5:10 years of experience in coating formulation / and or R and D in relevant industry
- Previous experience working with customers in a similar role.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
