Change Job Role : Senior QA Engineer (Backend Automation) Skills Required : Backend Testing : - REST / SOAP API - web service testing - SQL / NoSql data validation and testing - Experience in performance/stress testing - Testing tools - Postman, JMeter, SOAP UI etc Automation : - Frameworks - Selenium/Webdriver, TestNG/JUnit - Build tools - Maven, Jenkins etc - Cloud based environments - SauceLabs, BrowserStack etc Programming : - Strong in data structures and algorithms - Strong problem solving and analytical abilities Management : - Test Case management - Zephyr, TestLink etc - Bug Tracking - JIRA, Bugzilla etc - Experience in working in Agile/Scrum projects and fast paced environments Preference for candidates with : - Payments/fintech domain experience - Internet based B2C mobile applications (front/back end) Roles & Responsibility : - Own quality end to end for your features - Define test cases for backend/frontend - functional, performance, and security - Maintain up to date test cases - Maintain a dependable automation framework - Plan and estimate testing cycles - Communicate precisely and effectively with stakeholders - developers, manager, devops etc - Contribute to automation framework design - Improve upon existing quality processes and practices General : - Relevant industry experience of 4 to 6 yrs - Min 2 yrs of working in backend testing (REST APIs) Qualification : BE/ B.Tech or MCA(Preferred)
