The systems developed range from pure big data systems to ad-hoc query analysis tools to really low latency systems to front end dashboards to mobile SDKs. Company Test Engineering team works to enable automated integration testing of complex systems spanning front ends, backend and mobile apps. Wespecialize in test planning, test design and test automation frameworks. Responsibilities : - Deeply understand the various Company platforms and underlying implementation - Be a firewall for the quality of the products and platform Company delivers - Mentor and manage a small team of testing engineers - Design and develop automation testing frameworks - Build a culture of continuous integration at Company - Work with Product and Engineering to determine expected outcome of system in various scenarios - Design and Develop test frameworks and infrastructure for Company data systems.
-Write documentation, drive best practices in testing team Requirements - Previous experience (3-7 years) as a software engineer, with at least 2 years as software development in testing engineer.
-Strong coding skills in any object oriented language (JAVA, C ) - Strong scripting skills in any one language of choice (python, shell etc) - Quick prototyping skills to mock system behaviour - Experience in testing mobile apps and/or SDKs - Understanding of server side technologies such as webapps etc.
-Working with Ul automation frameworks such as Selenium - Previous experience of testing in domain of big data technologies is a plus - Develop automated tests and monitoring for Hadoop/EMR data processing pipelines and high scalability API Services - Previous experience of working with tools like Spark, HIVE, Druid, Tableau, Kafka and Stormis a plus.
