Big Data Practice lead - Manage and grow Companys Big Data center of excellence - Drive culture of innovation across the organization from Big Data perspective - Work closely with delivery verticals by providing input to architecture design and drive Big Data solution implementations with high quality - Work closely with sales team on pre-sales activities involving Big Data needs (Proposal and solutions) - Own and drive sales process from Big Data perspective by creating RFI/RFP responses, customer presentations, demonstrations, POCs etc. for growing Companys Big Data business - Engage with senior leadership team at client organizations and present sell Companys capabilities in the healthcare Big Data space - Identify and lead initiatives to grow the practice capabilities that may include building solution accelerators - Build internal knowledge base / healthcare technology expertise e.g., white papers, Company Practice Documents (CPDs) - Java/J2EE skills, Hands - on experience on Hadoop, Apache Spark, HBase, HDFS APIs, MapReduce APIs, JDBC, JMS, XML, Web services - REST, SOAP, Spring framework, - Familiarity with application security measures, ORM frameworks e.g. Hibernate, Open JPA - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
-Experience working with technology and business teams within an Agile/Scrum.
-Experience with collaborative on- and off-shore development teams.
-Knowledge on Hadoop and Bigdata concepts - Knowledge of other public cloud services like AWS Knowledge of Microsoft offerings on Bigdata - Facilitate the development of enterprise data governance and policies, including appropriate data stewardship, data audit requirements, and service-level agreements to support the appropriate quality and use of information.
-Serve as the Technical lead for architecture, design and interface decisions related to product development i Stay abreast of advancements in technology especially Big data/Hadoop to determine relevance and possible impact to existing system.
-Recommend and drive adoption of engineering best practices, including use of design patterns, code reviews and automated unit testing.
-Use coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality.
-Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of hardware and software solutions.
-Participate in project/agile planning sessions to analyze business requirements and implement the proposed solution.
