Manager - Content Services - Tech Support - Entertainment Domain (5-10 Yrs) Bangalore (Others)

JOB PURPOSE : - The Content Services Manager for Digital Cinema operations ensures compliance to security protocols, that any issue in the Content Services Department is dealt with in a prompt manner in order to ensure continuous flow of production operations and that deadlines are met. Supervision of staff, training, troubleshooting, administrative duties, and any task requested by immediate supervisor is required. DUTIES: - Create and enforce procedures and workflow implementations - Expand and maintain accuracy of procedural documentation - Responsible for facilitating communication - General HR/Admin duties; reviews, time sheets, schedules, etc.
-Conduct new hire interviews and training - Address or escalate any issue that might hinder production - Ensure security protocol - Maintain efficiency and seek efficiency opportunities - Conflict resolution SKILLS and ABILITIES: - Detail oriented and strong organizational skills - Ability to work in High Pressure situations (Deadlines/High Profile client interaction- ) - Good written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrate leadership ability - Experience with various platforms incl; Windows, Terminal (OSX) and Ubuntu (Linux) command line operations and Knowledge of XML - Excellent knowledge of Digital Cinema workflows and standards - Advanced knowledge of Digital Cinema mastering tools: DVS Clipster, Doremi, Wailua - Knowledge of video transcoding tools: Root6s Content Agent, Adobe Media Encoder or similar tools - Experience with Database layout and functions - Provide internal technical support and respond to business regarding technical questions, provide critical thinking to solve and prevent problems - Python, bash programming knowledge, ffmpeg command-line transcoding tool are a plus EXPERIENCE : Five (5) to six (6) years of experience in Digital Cinema Production Three (3) to four (4) years of experience in program management and customer service EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience in TV/Film Production, Communications
