Database Architect - Data Migration/MySQL (8-15 Yrs) Chennai (Systems/Product Software)

A fast growing Product Development organisation requires Database Architect Principal Responsibilities : - Develop a cloud database solution for a multi-tenant application; define database structure and functional capabilities - Take ownership of database design based on requirements, product needs, product growth and programming; - Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving environment and application issues - Analyze the method of transforming legacy data into the products database structures - Map source, staging and target data architectures to each other including rules and transformations - Identify data migration tools and technology - Review existing process and recommendations for improving the migration process - Additional responsibilities: security, back-up, and recovery specifications The individual will have : - Have a strong knowledge in any of the Data integration tools like AWS Glue - Have strong knowledge in Database Design, Data Modeling, Data Maintenance, Database Security, Database Management and Requirements Analysis : - Have strong experience in MYSQL - Have a good understanding of building operating solution on top of AWS RDS, DyamoDB - Possess hands-on technical skills - Nice to have: Have a knowledge about REST API and building an integration between file to MYSQL database This is a hands on and varied role in a young software business.
