IT Analyst - SAP BI/BW - 61814BR - Cameron Title - IT Analyst - SAP BI Experience - 4-7 Yrs Location - Coimbatore Job Purpose : - This position is responsible for BI development or enhancement and production support within the Business Intelligence system, ensuring system accuracy with high performance for end users.
-It includes responsibility for changes, problem resolution, and reporting modifications as well as performance tuning and architectural streamlining in BW on HANA environment. Job specification : - Participate in the development and support of reporting solutions within Schlumbergers Cameron Group, primarily using the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) applications on HANA.
-Work from the functional/business requirements to design and develop data sources (install standard data sources, enhance existing data sources, and create custom data sources).
-Work from the functional/business requirements to design and develop BW objects (install standard objects, enhance existing objects, and create custom objects) like Info Objects, business content, data sources, data targets, transformation, update rules, data transfer process, etc.
-Interact with the process owners to develop BW reports primarily using Business Explorer (BEx). Support dashboard and analytics using Web Intelligence, Design Studio, or other tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
-Work experience with BPC and APOs integration with SAP BW.
-Document test plans and complete Unit Testing of development objects and reports. Work with process resources to complete integration, function unit and user acceptance testing.
-Analyze and communicate report development issues, including problems with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues. Prepare documentations (data flow designs, business scenarios, technical information, etc.) during the different stages of the deployment.
-Provide support and maintenance of the existing reports and BW environments (development, quality assurance and production in traditional BW as well as BW on HANA). Must-haves : - SAP BW on HANA - SAP BW Data Modeling - SAP BW, ABAP - 4-7 years of experience in SAP BW. Nice-to-haves : PowerBI | Tableau | SAP BOBJ Key performance measurements Expectations : - Deliver the project requirements on time.
-Analyze production incidents resolve the issues in a timely manner.
-Good team player with effective communication skills. Educational background required/desired : BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc/M.Tech Required Certifications : Preferred - SAP BI/HANA certification
