Fyniti - Backend Developer - System Design & Implementation (4-12 Yrs) Chennai (Systems/Product Software)

Senior Back End Developer Location: Chennai Who we are : Sett&Lucass is incubating an early stage FinTech platform called Fyniti, which is aiming to redefine the way people - from every walk of life - manage their investments, from seasoned to novice investors, looking to invest in equities using an AI-powered unique trading platform. By leveraging - what we call DELTA model - which is a combination of our proprietary US patent-pending algorithms and along with leveraging Distributed Ledgers and Artificial Intelligence, this new platform set to redefine the way people manage their investments. We have offices in New York City, Dallas, and Chennai. What this role is about : We are looking for a seasoned platform backend developer responsible for the development and maintenance of next generation Trading platform. The individual in this role, will have the primary focus in development of platform backend which involves implementing trading back-office integrations, API back-end services for various platform modules, reporting and analytics among other features. Also, the individual will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential. The individual would be required to work from our Chennai office. Who we are looking for : - Someone who can meet/exceed the higher standards of work ethics and ability to raise the bar even further - Someone who is passionate with exploring, learning, inspired from and inspire fellow team members, help each other in all possible ways - Someone who is very excited with the kind of work in this role in various capacities What you will be doing in this role : - Design, implementation and ownership of various critical systems within the platform - Ensure the technical feasibility of various functionalities including UI features and implement the backend services including application and data security related features - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications - Involve in team work sprints which will include task management and helping with design.
-Working with Backend, Data Science and DevOps teams for API implementation and design.
-Build reusable code and libraries for future use - Optimize application for optimal performance and scalability - Collaborate with other team members.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment - Ability to effectively multi-task with good analytical skills and a quick learner - Good written and verbal communication - Work closely with our product team and influence in applicable areas of product definitions and features - Contribute to building our team and company culture. Were a startup building a fun and highly capable team, with lots of potential for you to have impact beyond your core role What we are looking for, from an ideal candidate : - Proven track record in a development of complex services for the backend of enterprise grade web applications - Proficient with Application Architecture - Experience in Rest APIs/Web services - Experience in MongoDB/ Any NoSQL DB.
