Senior Fraud Analyst - Telecom Domain (5-7 Yrs) Bangalore (Systems/Product Software)

This position reports into the Sr. Manager-Support at oraganization and would be responsible for providing handling over Fraud Opportunities (pre-sales stage, trial, PoC) and Ongoing Projects to the Customer and organization support of the deployed products and solutions as per the agreed SLA with the customer related to Fraud projects. Job Description : - Handling all the communication related to the assigned customer accounts.
-Responsible for drive Trials and PoC related to Fraud Detection from Test Call Generator Perspective - Responsible for Understand customer requirements and configure in the system the call settings should be generated, including the originator countries research for strategical case to increase detections understanding fraudster behavior - Responsible for SIM management, it means, define which countries and operator simcards are required, follow up the procurement process for activation, and maintenance. Keep updated SIM Pool inventory - Responsible for handling Level 1 and Level 2 analysis and trouble shooting.
-Responsible for handling product queries.
-Report creation and delivery - Develop workarounds to limit customer downtime while a permanent solution can be developed.
-Ensure appropriate inclusion of Engineering function within investigation.
-Be prime interface to the customer and hold review meetings with the customer on a timely basis in relationship with Fraud Projects - Participate in the development, review and implementation of product upgrade/patch and installation processes in all fraud related features.
-Provide onsite troubleshooting when necessary and appropriate.
-Provide Customer related intelligence back to engineering, marketing and sales on product functionality, performance, reliability and account status. Desired Profile : Educational Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech., M.E./M. Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA Skill Sets : - Domain Expertise: - Knowledge of ITU-T/ANSI SS7, GSM, IS-41, ETSI, 3GPP standards - Technical know-how on SCCP, TCAP, MAP, ISUP, INAP, CAMEL, SIGTRAN protocol stacks - UMTS and LTE Core Network Architecture Knowledge.
-Understand the Billing system associated to Mobile Voice Calls.
-Understand the voice wholesale operation.
-Understand Roaming service, its main components along with their interactions.
-Knowledge of most common Telecom Frauds, like Bypass, IRSF, among others. Technical Skills : - UNIX (Solaris/Linux) and shell/Perl scripting - SQL Server - Oracle - Excel - Functional Skills: - Supporting software applications for customers - Effective written and verbal communications skills - Communications in Spanish and English via telephone and email engagement skills a must.
-Communications in Portuguese as a nice to have. Work Experience : - Five to Seven years- experience. Earning Potential : - Compensation - based on experience and background.
