Lead Hardware Design Engineer - PCB Design (4-8 Yrs) Mumbai (Semiconductor/VLSI/EDA)

Job Description- What you will do :- - Design and development of digital and analog electronics for control of high power electronics systems.
-Start to finish ownership of control boards and other electronics - from specification to design, prototype, and manufacturing.
-Collaborative work with mechanical, digital control, thermal design, and manufacturing test engineers.
-Product level electrical design including component selection, branch circuit design and insulation coordination. This is you :- - BS, MS or PhD in EE/CE/CS (IIT/BITS/International preferred) or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability - 4 or more years of demonstrated successful experience in electrical engineering within a product design and manufacturing environment (high power Li-Ion batteries is a plus) - Embedded programming of DSPs and FPGAs in real-time control applications is highly valuable.
-Experience in supervision of PCB layout for minimal stray inductance and capacitance, placement strategies for better manufacturability, power/signal plane definition and EMC optimization.
-Experience with Altium Designer for Schematic PCB layout design - Start to finish ownership of control boards and other electronics - from specification to design, prototype, and manufacturing.
-Experience with high current power semiconductor selection (IGBTs, MOSFET- s, and Diodes), gate drive and protection circuit design.
-Familiar with schematic capture and power converter circuit simulation tools.
-Experience in selection and use of DSPs, microcontrollers, and programmable logic devices and their peripheral circuitry (signal conditioning, board-level power supplies).
-Experience in development of digital and analog interfaces for PC-based test systems, especially (Labview, Matlab, Python).
-Knowledge in environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for Automotive, Industrial Residential applications.
-Collaborate with BMS HW/FW engineering team to successfully to design, validate and deploy testing tools - Product level electrical design including component selection, branch circuit design and insulation coordination.
-Fluent in english, ability to communicate with foreign teammates
