To know more about us, please visit www.trueinfluence.in Job Description : - As a key member of the Marketing Team, we are looking for a talented Infrastructure Lead to take full responsibility of building, managing, and scaling the front outbound email stack.
-The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Windows/Linux based systems and servers with focus on setting up the mailing infrastructure.
-He/She must have in-depth knowledge of setting up a mailing infrastructure.
-He/She must have expertise maintaining and monitoring these servers and scale up based on the marketing teams business requirements.
-The candidate must have knowledge of Networking, Hardware, software and good knowledge of Web servers, Mail servers, DNS, FTP and SSH. He/She must be a good team player and able to work independently. Duties and Responsibilities : - Expert in managing multiple Postfix mail servers and PowerMTA setups - Develop and manage the complete mailing infrastructure using Linux servers - Responsible for planning, refining, security and improve infrastructure performance - Responsible for all server backups and replication - Responsible for managing DNS servers for sites and monitoring all servers - Proactively monitor production and development servers - Develop, install and configure network management protocol such as Samba or Apache JServ Protocol, DHCP, NFS and other tools if necessary - Extensive experience in IT Consultancy, Linux Administration, Network and Server Setup - Must be an expert in planning, implementation and troubleshooting of various services on Linux like SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, POP3, IMAP, SSH, FTP - Proficient in security audits of Web servers and securing them using various open source tools such as APF firewall, BFD, rkhunter, Chkrootkit, etc - Expertise in managing dedicated, and virtual Linux servers hosted in various data centres in the US, Germany, China, Taiwan, Brazil and/or India - Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform advanced performance tuning and capacity planning tasks - Must be a well organized self-starter, able to deliver assigned tasks on time, and manage multiple tasks in a fast- paced environment - Understanding of reputation management tools such as ReturnPath and MxToolbox - Built deep integrations with an email delivery service like Sendgrid, MailGun, Mandrillor any other Email Service Providers - Experience with anti-spam infrastructure to prevent bad actors from exploiting an email service Desired Skills Experience : - A Bachelors or Masters with majors in IT, Computer Science or a related field - 8 years of professional experience in building, managing and scaling the infrastructure - Certified technical expert in more than one area with a wide understanding of IP - Networking or Mailing servers or related area - Effective network administration and troubleshooting skills, with an understanding of - Linux system administration.
-Knowledge on Linux/Unix- Redhat, Ubuntu is a plus - Scripting and automation skills are a plus
