Backend Engineer - Java Development - Hibernate/Spring (2-5 Yrs) Bangalore (Systems/Product Software)

Client is a platform that uses technology and data to make loans faster, cheaper, and accessible for SMEs in India. We analyse various data points including Credit bureau scores, Online data, Customer feedback, Transaction history, Psychometric assessments to develop their algorithms. Team : Our Management team from Stanford University, Princeton University, IIT Mumbai, The London School of Economics, and firms like McKinsey Oracle. Funding : Location: Bangalore Designation : Backend Engineer Candidate Requirements : - Quick learning and problem solving skills - Strong in Math and writing clean code - Strong in communication - verbal or written - Willing to work in a fast-paced startup - Experience working on MVC frameworks - Ability to be data driven and think analytically - Have fun in a collaborative work environment Skills and Experience : - Experience in Object Oriented Programming using Java /Python - Nice to have other scripting/programming - PHP, Python, Shell or similar - Working knowledge of Relational Databases or Document Stores - Knowledge of committing your code to a version controlled system - Git or similar Responsibilities : - Integration of existing APIs as well as third party APIs (be it JSON, XML, etc.) - Building out new functionality and APIs as per specs provided by product team - Unifying data structures across multiple internal built systems to ensure continuity and enhancements of functionality - Implement scalable, robust and highly available solutions - Identify and/or question problems/issues and have the ability to scope out a solution with clean modular code - Work with the QA team to ensure that your code is always delivered on time and matching the criteria of all stories
