Profile : Software Test Engineer Location : Kolkata Industry : It Exp : Minimum 5yrs Responsibilities and duties : - Analysis of user requirements and documentation of processes and procedures according to the specification of the customer requirements.
-Producing in-depth testing plans from client requirements and specifications.
-Maintaining records of satisfied requirements.
-Writing bug tickets for testing failures.
-Reporting requirement failures to the Project Manager/Tech Lead.
-Preparing and delivering reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in projects across the organization.
-Developing and establishing quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product life cycles.
-Ensuring that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfilling end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
-Creation and review of test scenarios, scripts, and test plans in collaboration with software/systems personnel to satisfy functional unit tests, regression tests and system integration tests.
-Executing automated and manual test cases.
-Execution of test cases and preparation of comprehensive testing reports. Ad-hoc testing for quick fixes and priority deployments.
-Communicating test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
-Analysing formal test results in order to discover and report any Intermediate Document (IDoc) rejects, defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
-Monitoring program performance after implementation - Writing documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
