Software Data Engineer - Hadoop/AWS/Big Data (2-8 Yrs) Chennai (Systems/Product Software)

Basic Qualifications : - 2-8 years of experience working in software development domains - Must have experience of Bigdata/Hadoop, AWS, and Sound understanding of -velocity and volume and variety of Data - Should have experience in setting up and configuring a medium to large size Big Data ecosystem - Experience in building large scale and distributed fault tolerant enterprise -applications using Hadoop and related open source Big Data Technologies - Experience in Data engineering in setting the data pipeline, data lake - Must have exposure to advanced analytics platforms - Hands-on technical leader that contributes to technical vision, software architecture, -process improvements to deliver scalable big data platforms and services - Management experience in leading a large development team - Experience in building scalable real time systems and streaming solutions is -preferred - Programming experience in languages like Java, Scala, python, R equivalent - Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting - Experience in developing and deploying scalable and fault tolerant web services using REST - Experience with all aspects of big data systems including database design, ETL, and monitoring - Experience with SQL and NOSQL databases - Experience in using various schedulers for the automation - Experience in using and integrating BI applications such as Qlik, Tableau (preferred) - Excellent written and verbal communication - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications : - Strong Customer Focus - Worked on DAAS (Data as a service platform) - Must have Bigdata/Hadoop, Spark experience is plus - Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a highly iterative, agile and open team environment - Masters or PhD in computer science - Demonstrates delivering data as a business (understanding and analyzing the cost base of a service and recovery model)
