Industry Experience - 15 Years Salary - As per company standards Roles Responsibilities in detail : As a leader in the IT department, and an employee responsible for organisation-wide systems and information, an IT Manager has to perform the following duties and responsibilities : - Overall management of the IT department and complete ownership of process and process improvement.
-Running regular checks on network and data security - Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems - Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation - Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff - Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages - Providing direction for IT team members - Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department - Manages and coordinates all IT-related matters including data, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephony, video conferencing, security, and computer hardware and software - Trouble-shoots and solves problems related to hardware, software, and network problems - Proficient with installation and trouble shooting of Office 365 - Researches and recommends acquisition of network hardware and software - Monitors network utilization and performance, implements procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availability - Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time - Build long term relationships with outside vendors for IT related products and services - Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures - Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements - Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action - Install hardware and peripheral components - Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems - Administer email and anti-virus systems - Troubleshoot and resolve user issues relative to all corporate software in a timely manner - Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts - Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
