Technology Manager/Site Head - Java/J2EE/Python/C/C++ (10-18 Yrs) Bangalore (Systems/Product Software)

Summary : Set up and lead the entire R&D centre for a technology MNC that works in the industry automation space. Build a strong technology team of high quality engineers, architects and team leaders. The Client : Our client is a technology MNC that works in the industrial automation space that helps multiple retail and e-commerce companies with automating their logistics process. Responsibilities : - Taking ownership of the entire technology center in Bangalore and working closely with the leadership for the software technology roadmap.
-Owning and working end-to-end on an application - from system (server, deployment, configuration management) to back end (container, application, database).
-Lead a team of 20-5 people effectively to deliver high quality enterprise products - Compliance with build and configuration management process.
-Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.
-Should be able to lead a team and show them the growth path as well as mentor them to perform their tasks more effectively and efficiently. Successful Candidate : - Engineering Degree from a Top Tier University ONLY - Entrepreneurial experience will be an added advantage.
-Excellent experience in setting up high quality technology teams from scratch.
-10 years of overall experience - significant experience in building teams and complex software products - Expertise in Java/J2EE/Python/C/C .
-Understanding of enterprise software design patterns and data structures.
-You have relevant working experience in designing and engineering multi-disciplinary software products.
-Experience with a large Enterprise Software Development Organization - International exposure via significant working experience in USA will be a plus. What is in offer : - Excellent opportunity to run a R&D centre end to end.
