Mactores - Data Engineer - Big Data/Hadoop (2-5 Yrs) Mumbai (Systems/Product Software)

What Youll Do : - Understand the business drivers and analytical use-cases and translate these to data services and engineering outcomes.
-Explore new technologies and learn new techniques to solve business problems creatively - Think big and drive the strategy for better data quality for the customers.
-Become the voice of business within engineering and of engineering within a business with customers.
-Collaborate with many teams - engineering and business, to build better data products and services - Deliver the projects along with the team collaboratively and manage updates to customers on time What We are Looking For : - Over 2 - 5 years of experience with - Big data (Hadoop, Hive, Presto), - Programming language (Python, Java, Scala) - Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, D3) technologies - MPP platforms (Spark, Impala, Presto) - Real-time processing engines (Storm, Spark Streaming, Flink) - Understanding of SQL is a must - Any ETL tool experience - Hands-on experience in data modeling, data visualization, and pipeline design and development - Prior experience working with business stakeholders, in an enterprise space is a plus - Great communication skills. You should be able to directly communicate with senior business leaders, to embed yourself with business teams and to present solutions to business stakeholders - Experience in working independently and driving projects end to end, strong analytical skill. You are preferred if you have : - Prior experience in working on AWS, GCP, and Azure - Certifications - AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty - Cloudera or Hortonworks Certified Big Data Engineer - Understanding of DataOps Engineering
