MSBI Developer - ETL/Data Modeling/Business Intelligence (5-9 Yrs) Pune (Systems/Product Software)

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - ETL developers are responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions in the company. After the groundwork has been laid, developers also must test their designs to ensure the system runs smoothly. Furthermore, developers must be experts at taking a big-picture view of a companys data situation.
-Well versed with data modelling. This means developers need to be able to read, analyse and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process around those goals.
-Database designs and knowledge of star and snowflake schemas.
-Should have experience in end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in scorecards, KPIs, reports dashboards. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skill.
-Create dashboards reports for business teams to track performance in excel /or Power BI /or Adobe Data Work Bench - Study and analyze existing business trends and provide insights to improve or optimize business efforts - Communicate business results or interpretations across stakeholders in different functions - Support new product launch initiatives and/or campaign using data-led insights Required Skills : - Excellent analytic skills and problem solving - Flexible to new situations and challenges - Very good knowledge of the requirements management lifecycle - Knowledge of Data Management and Data Modelling - Knowledge of ETL tools, data APIs, data modelling, and data warehousing solutions - Knowledge of SQL, .Net or Java, XML and several data warehouse architecture techniques such as EDW, ODS, DM, ROLAP and MOLAP - Hands on experience in SCD- Slowly Changing Dimensions and CDC- Change data Capture is important - Hands on experience of MSBI (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) - Hands on experience in all phases of ETL development.
-Familiar with data retrieval and storing systems, data visualization and data warehousing using - ETL tools, Hadoop-based analytics, and business intelligence concepts.
-Understand data requirement with minimum supervision and/or minimal brief from a person requesting.
-Deliver ad-hoc requirements with short turn-around times and/or under frequent change of understanding
