Stryker - Senior R&D Engineer - Robotics System Design (4-7 Yrs) Gurgaon/Gurugram (Semiconductor/VLSI/EDA)

Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. Determines systems software design requirements.
-Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
-This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline.

-This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 or more years Requirement Analysis, Use case design, workflow analysis and usability engineering - Documentation of Process Flows, System Requirement Document, Functional Requirement Document, user acceptance test cases, etc.
-Work as Robotics Feature Owner for SGTC Intra-Op software development.
-Responsible for understanding Mako Robotics Systems Requirements and acting as bridge between SGTC RD team and Lead System Designer at Stryker Mako.
-Design and implement complex concepts, draft design documentation, plan and conduct relevant tests under professional leadership - Apply processes and Standards - Integrates and administers development tools including required validation under close professional leadership - Share best practices and own project experience within own team - Work diligently to project schedules as determined by project leaders and can clearly communicate the status of assignments, coordinate tasks, and shift priorities as dictated by project demands; - Investigates defined issues with uncertain cause including input solicitation and data gathering that help differentiate the symptoms and root cause of defined problems and propose problem resolutions.
-Meet the needs of internal customers such as GQO, AO, AQE etc. as applicable for specific project assignments.
-Work under supervision with surgeon customers in a user setting, clearly communicate design goals and incorporate feedback into designs Skill Set : - Be detailed oriented with strong written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills - Participate in, solicit feedback and document reports as needed on cadaveric evaluations - Experience in Systems engineering principles as it applies to medical device development from concept phase to final design and commercial release - Good mathematical skills with an understanding of 3D Transformations/3D Geometry.
-Demonstrated ability in the use of Software Tools (i.e., MiniTab) for statistical analysis.
-Experience using MATLAB and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks).
-Experience in the use of risk management practices applied to medical device development.
-Experience in creating design specifications and requirements definition.
-Experience in developing test protocols/procedures, collecting and analyzing data, and creating detailed reports Qualifications : - BE/B.Tech/ME/M. Tech in Mechanical / Biomedical Engineering Other Related Engineering - Experience: 4 to 7 years - Minimum 2 years in similar role of project and product development
