Here is a glimpse of what youll do : - Primary responsibilities to include definition, design and verification of baseband subsystems - It may contain FPGAs, DSPs, custom ASICs, microcontrollers, as well as other digital and analog circuits - Other responsibilities may include development of software for testing blocks or subsystems, integrating system SW with prototype HW - Troubleshooting units and modules when problems arise - In some cases design support will be required from product conception through production ramp up Here is some of what youll need (required) : - M.Sc. or B.Sc. on Electrical engineering or on related field - 5 years of relevant experience - Fluent English - Knowledge of FPGAs, ASICs, microcontrollers, and high-speed interfaces - Thorough understanding of digital and analog electronics design principles - Understanding of testing principles, techniques, and test equipment for complex digital subsystems - Knowledge and/or experience with Digital Signal Processing techniques (ex: digital filter design) - ICX toolset experience We consider the following experiences as a plus : - C programming experience is a plus, especially in applications of custom solutions to facilitate HW testing - Mentor Graphics experience - High-speed design experience - Experience designing FPGA solutions (coding in RTL, usage of FPGA development/simulation tools, etc)
